The great traditional Italian architectural stones: Porfido, Piasentina, Cardoso. These materials have been popular since the age of antiquity due to their strength, hard-wearing resistance and at the same time their outstanding styling appeal. They are the inspiration for the IN-SIDE series, which is named after the state-of-the-art technology with which Laminam was able to quash another paradigm of ceramic surfaces, creating a body and surface continuity in the slabs.

Description

The great traditional Italian architectural stones: Porfido, Piasentina, Cardoso. These materials have been popular since the age of antiquity due to their strength, hard-wearing resistance and at the same time their outstanding styling appeal. They are the inspiration for the IN-SIDE series, which is named after the state-of-the-art technology with which Laminam was able to quash another paradigm of ceramic surfaces, creating a body and surface continuity in the slabs.

Owing to their strong material and aesthetic impact, IN-SIDE surfaces are especially suited to use in the furniture industry and in the world of interior décor.

Finish description

The ‘flamed’ surface was indeed flamed by a very hot torch to create a textured, semi-rough finish, giving the stone a raw natural look.

Technical information

The main characteristic of IN-SIDE surfaces is their body and surface continuity, both as material and look. The slabs are resistant to impact, stains and scratches.

The versatility of ceramic means the surfaces retain their specifications even when they are exposed to heat, frost and UV rays, with an average water absorption of 0.1%.

IN-SIDE is a totally natural product that is entirely food-safe because it does not release elements in a solution (even in the event of a fire) and does not allow mould and mildew to form.

Brand information

Surfaces inspired by nature, which go beyond nature. Laminam® produces ceramic slabs which challenge the traditional uses of this material, creating large sized minimum thickness surfaces, which are used in exterior architecture, interior design and furnishings. Find out more about Laminam® here.
